Eugenia in Nazi Germany: racism as a state politics
Abstract
We reviewed the Nazi ideology, that of a nationalist, anti-communist and anti-Semitic nature. The strange hierarchy of the races and the search for purity and supremacy of the Aryan blood that were ideas rhetorically launched by Hitler in his book Mein Kampf - My Fight -. The Aktion T4 program for the murders of sick or undesirable people was a fundamental part of the state apparatus of the III Reich that put into practice the eugenic ideas of Galton's pseudoscience. The final throes of the Reich that should have lasted a thousand years. The article, therefore, opens up to the reader the perverse and cruel scenario of Nazi eugenics in one of the darkest periods in our recent history.
